Matthew Levine

Mr. Matthew Levine ​is the Director of Vocal Music at Waynesboro Area Senior High School.  Mr. Levine leads Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Tribesmen, and Women's Choir as well as teaching Music Theory and Music Technology.  In addition to his work as Director of Vocal Music, he serves as the director for the All-School Production.

As a high school student, Mr. Levine attended WASHS and was extremely active in the Music Department participating in vocal and instrumental ensembles as well as All-School Productions.

Mr. Levine studied voice with Dr. Alissa Rose at Mansfield University and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education. He is currently working toward his MM in Music Education at Kent State University.

Before returning to Waynesboro, Mr. Levine taught Elementary Music in Las Vegas, Nevada for the latter part of the 2015-16 school year. Mr. Levine started the 2016-17 school year as the Music Specialist at Mowrey Elementary before moving to Waynesboro Area Senior High School.

In his spare time, Mr. Levine is still involved in theatrical productions in the region as a performer and director.

Mr. Levine is a current member of the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, the American Choral Directors Association, and the National Association for Music Education.
