Visiting Colleges

 Visiting Colleges

"Choosing a college without visiting it first is like getting married on a blind date!"

You will be spending the next FOUR YEARS of your life at the college you choose. It is important that you visit and "try it out" before you commit to spending the next four years of your life there!

To get an idea of where you might want to begin the search attend information sessions for colleges/universities of interest in the guidance office. We also have a lot of colleges near WASHS (Shippensburg, HCC, Wilson, Penn State Mont Alto, Gettysburg, etc.) that can help you get an idea of what type of college you are looking for.

Get a start by reading this article by the Princeton Review on how to get the most of your college visit.

The CollegeBoard has some excellent advice on visiting colleges and preparing for your visit ahead of time.

eCampusTours also has some great advice.
