Waynesboro Area Senior High School students have the opportunity to attend the Franklin County Career and Technology Center (FCCTC) at no additional cost!

How do students learn about the Career Tech (CT)?

  • Students begin to learn about the programs at Career Tech starting in the middle school, where they receive classroom guidance lessons about it and also get to visit the school!
  • Students have the opportunity to sign up for a tour of Career Tech during the counselors Fall lessons. 
  • After the tour, students may apply to go to the FCCTC.
  • The application is NEW this year and is ONLINE. To apply visit http://www2.franklinctc.com/secondary-education/how-to-apply/
  • Some programs are very competitive, student applications are judged on: Attendance, Grades, and Discipline Record.
  • Students that apply are then interviewed by Career Tech faculty and staff to assess their admittance into the program of their choice. This typically occurs in the middle of their 9th grade year.
  • Successful applicants begin attending Career Tech their 10th grade year.
