Enrichment Seminar

Welcome to the 7 period schedule! Unfortunately we do not have a common "pull-out" time to meet as an entire group. Therefore, I propose 3 possible solutions to this difficulty: 1) meet during your assigned lunch after picking a lunch up from cafeteria, 2) follow the 20-30mins excusal from class between the 11:17 thru 1:17 time frame or 3) meet-up after school. I have learend from my students that Thursdayand Friday appear to be days bogged down with assessments. So Monday thru Wednesday may be the better option for meeting. Due to holidays or inservices we will meet the next possbile date.
Monday will have an established reading as the focus with pre-reading discussion, secondly interpretative questions and comments and lastly, post-reading questions and comments. All students will be asked to post a singular comment to my questions found at the Enrichment BLOG. Afterwards, students will complete three responses to comments posted by students. Any other day you would like to meet could be geered to National History Day, Science Olympiad, Writing Contests, Trivia preparation or special interests.
Option 1 According to the Lunch Schedules students could meet:
  • LUNCH A: Zac Forrester, Ncik Franki and Sam Franki
  • LUNCH B: Darek Benchoff
  • LUNCH C: Nathan Cordell, Seth Egolf, Trey Foreman, Emily Horton, Levi Moats, Kyle Hied, Wesley Ocker, Paige Orner, Hope Reecher and Bryce Stevenson.
  • LUCH D: Noelle Musolino
Option 2 Meet 20-30 mins on Monday during assigned class time rotatlng weekly through 11:17 thru 1:17pm.
  • 1st full week of calendar month 11:17-11;47 November 3
  • 2nd week of calendar month 11:47-12:17 November 12
  • 3rd week of calendar month 12:17-12:47 November 17
  • 4th week of calendar month 12:47-1:17 November 24
Option 3 Invite a few friends and report to room 323 to engage in the discussion or focus on an upcoming written or academic contest after-school.
